The Caleb Young Band first formed in 2015 when Caleb Young Pinkston met Austin Grigry in Monahans, Texas. The two began writing songs and recorded their debut single Running on E at Mudrock Studios in Midland, Texas. The band began playing heavily but unfortunately had to take a hiatus in 2016 due to personal reasons.
