NATIONAL CENTER FOR CHILDREN’S ILLUSTRATED LITERATURE
The NCCIL honors the finest original artwork in children’s literature by producing vibrant exhibitions which travel to museums and galleries nationwide. The NCCIL designs educational programming in order to stimulate creativity, promote visual literacy, and enhance art appreciation. Free family art adventures are offered most Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. and a nice selection of children’s books are available for purchase.
