Beginning Monday, Jan. 15, locals and visitors will have the opportunity to join in the fun as we bring together five downtown eateries who are competing for patrons to devour their burger inspired dish and vote which restaurant has the best burger officially crowning them the Downtown Abilene Burger Battle Champion.

To learn how you can vote for the best burger and a chance to win a $500 cash prize follow the steps below!

1. Pick up a game card at any participating location, the Chamber or at the Convention & Visitors Bureau (1101 N 1st St). Keep that card for the duration of the Burger Brawl or until you’re satisfied with your entry!
2. Try some burgers! Try the competing burgers at participating restaurants and have a restaurant employee stamp your card. The more burger locations you visit the greater chance you have at winning the drawing you’ll be entered in. One Burger = One Stamp. Two game cards can not be stamped for one burger, and you must try a minimum of two burgers to be entered to win. 
3. Have fun and snap a picture of you enjoying one of the Burger Brawl recipes! Use the hashtag #ABIBurgerBrawl and tag our social media in your post!
4. Turn in your card by Thursday, Feb. 15 at 5:00 p.m. to participating restaurants, the Chamber or the Convention & Visitors Bureau. To be eligible to be placed in a drawing, your card needs to be filled out and have at least 2 stamps from participating restaurants. The game card will also have a place for you to vote for your favorite burger – don’t forget to vote! Winners will be announced on the Downtown Abilene social media pages on Friday, Feb. 16 so make sure you’re following!

Number of entries will increase as follows:

• 2 stamps – the restaurant you voted for will receive 2 points
• 3 stamps – the restaurant you voted for will receive 3 points
• 4 stamps – the restaurant you voted for will receive 4 points
• 5 stamps – the restaurant you voted for will receive 5 points
